The University of the Incarnate Word aims to educate men and women who will become concerned and enlightened citizens within the global community during and beyond their academic career. Gathered here you will find various resources to assist campus community members in learning more about the issues, understand the voting process, and provide links to register to vote or request an absentee ballot.
If you are not sure if you are registered to vote in the state of Texas, check your voter registration status here.
If you have not registered to vote or need to do so, we have gathered various resources below to assist you including utilizing the TURBOVOTE platform system. TurboVote ensures students always know when elections are happening and have the information they need to vote with confidence.
UIW students and community members can sign-up to receive election reminders, register to vote and apply for their absentee ballot.
Free transportation to the polling sites
The Ettling Center for Civic Leadership and 可持续性 will be providing free roundtrip transportation to a polling site for students, 教师, and staff to go vote for the Spring of 2024.
Dates and times are presently being coordinated for Spring 2024 elections. We invite you to visit the site again in February to learn of voting transportation dates and times.

Register to VOTE @ UIW!
The Ettling Center for Civic Leadership and 可持续性 – in coordination with various local non-profit organizations – will host voter registration tables during the 2023 fall semester.
Members of the campus community can register to vote from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Westgate Circle on the following days:
